La band islandese Lazyblood è un nuovissimo duo composto da Valdimar Jóhannsson e Erna Ómarsdóttir. La loro musica si può definire come una sorta di opera metal-elettronica con alcuni input teatrali e fisici, qualche tocco di disco e un “headbanging” (lo scuotere la testa al ritmo della musica heavy metal) innovativo. Con Valdimar Jóhannsson alla guida del suono attraverso una tempesta di electro-punk, metal, glam rock e Nordik folk, Erna Ómarsdóttir scolpisce e rompe il mondo che lei e Jóhannsson avevano creato insieme attraverso un corpo che è come un tornado in una scatola musicale, e una voce che danza attraverso toni da luci nordiche e i suoni di una femmina di drago che protegge il suo piccolo.A lungo nella compagnia di Jan Fabre, che per lei ha coreografato un assolo che ha fatto il giro del mondo, e infine con Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui e Les Ballets C de la B di Alain Platel, oggi Erna Ómarsdóttir è artista in proprio e si divide fra la sua città natale, Reykjavík, e Bruxelles. Negli ultimi anni le sue creazioni nascono dalla collaborazione con musicisti, come Jóhann Jóhannsson e Valdimar Jóhannsson: IBM 1401 (a user manual) in scena a Natura Dèi Teatri nel 2007. Valdimar Jóhannsson è musicista e compositore per il teatro e la danza, ha suonato e composto per la band punk islandese Reykjavik!.

The icelandic band Lazyblood is a brandnew duet with Valdimar Jóhannsson and Erna Ómarsdóttir. The music is described as an electronic metal opera with some theatrical  and physical input, some touch of disco and innovative headbanging. With Valdimar  Jóhannsson steering the sound through an electronic storm of electro-punk, metal, glam rock and Nordic folk, Erna Ómarsdottir sculpted and ruptured the world she and Jóhannsson were building together with a body like a tornado in a music box, and a voice that danced between tones of the Northern Lights and the sound of a mother dragon protecting her young.
